Grow your career in a dynamic environment, prioritising safety.Competitive pay hour full-time, with casual rates available.Superannuation paid on all hours worked.Convenient Drive-In/Drive-Out or Bus-In/Bus-Out commute from Mackay to Coppabella camp, under 2 hours away.Paid Travel TimeExtra shift incentives available.Flexible 7/7 - day shift roster with fortnightly pay.5 weeks of paid annual leave.$5,000 refer a mate bonus.Exclusive discounts on health insurance, retailers, novated leases, and salary packaging.Key Responsibilities Include:Efficiently manage and document all incoming deliveries, ensuring safe unloading and forklift operations, and updating the Workplace Inventory Management System to reflect current stock levels and movements.Conduct regular stock takes according to approved schedules and ensure no unapproved movement of inventory items.Perform inventory issues in compliance with Emeco processes, including obtaining quotes and completing JPSs for consumables and workshop tooling, ensuring all are costed to the correct cost codes.Maintain high standards of cleanliness and organization across all storage areas by conducting housekeeping actions according to agreed schedules.Oversee freight dispatch and materials handling equipment pre-starts, participating in pre-start meetings to ensure a safe working environment.Communicate effectively with on-site management, internal teams, and external stakeholders to coordinate inventory needs, resolve issues, and collect stock and parts from the distribution centre when required.Implement and maintain safe systems of work in line with ESHEMS, actively promoting a HS&E culture to mitigate risks, and complying with all relevant legislation, standards, policies, and procedures.Undertake risk management activities to identify, eliminate, and manage risks in the workplace, applying Take 5, TBRA, PBRA, and MBRA for task risk assessments.Promptly report injuries and incidents according to company and site procedures, participate in toolbox and pre-start meetings, and assist with incident and hazard investigations.Accept individual responsibility for safe behaviour, actively participate in health and safety activities, and maintain any statutory licenses as required.Experience & Attributes Required:Effective communication and influence across all organizational levels and stakeholder groups, with strong negotiation skills and knowledge of contract legislation.Significant warehousing experience in industrial services and the mining equipment industry, demonstrating excellent planning, organization, and time management skills.Strong interpersonal and communication skills, able to work effectively in cross-functional team environments.Commitment to safety values within the Emeco OHS policy, maintaining high standards of consistency and integrity in material handling practices.Energetic with a "can do" attitude, focusing on execution and quick problem-solving.Customer-focused with commercial judgment, showing initiative to exceed expectations and develop opportunities, with previous experience in a Store Person role within the mining sector.Mandatory Requirements:Unrestricted rights to work in Australia.High Risk Work Licence – ForkliftCurrent Australian driver’s licenceA strong commitment to safety, health, and the environment, with a proactive approach to housekeeping and an understanding of coal mining safety practicesStandard 11 and ability to pass a Coal Board Medical, Functional Assessment & Drug/Alcohol screen.Highly Desirable:Certificate: IT (Front end) Loader TicketSenior First AidHit "Apply Now" or reach out to us directly on gina.mcleod@emecogroup.com or 0473 031 066 to kickstart your career with us today!
