Emeco are currently seeking a Short Term Planner to join our dynamic team based on-site less than 2 hours from Mackay!The successful candidate will be responsible for (but not limited to) the following duties:Develop and maintain a rolling current week plus 2 maintenance plan of all works for a site to preserve equipment operational availability and asset integrity including organising labour, ordering parts and service kits and understanding tooling requirementsReview and maintain an accurate asset defect backlog and plan work to ensure the backlog is managed to an acceptable age and quantity per asset focusing on the priority of work required to build the maintenance planSchedule execution of Condition Monitoring workorders raised in AMT (CMMS) by the Central Asset team and provide feedback as required on completion of inspections.Manage workload in the maintenance plan according to the labour capacity of the maintenance operation and client operational requirements. Flag when additional labour or 3rd parties are required to successfully execute the maintenance plan (Capacity Planning)Chair a weekly Planning Meeting with the relevant stakeholders to review the draft plan and all tasks for the execution week and the subsequent weeks that follow.Ensure engagement from Site Superintendents/ Project Managers along with their approval and commitment to execute the maintenance plan.Review the completion of the previous week plan using the suite of Emeco Operating System (EOS) reports including any outstanding Statutory or Condition Monitoring Tasks.Chair a daily Maintenance Planning Meeting reviewing previous 24 hours and next 48 hours of planned maintenance activitiesInform Central Asset Team of all Early Failures and possible warranty situations, gather all information requested and compile into AMT (CMMS) as per Warranty/Early Failure processClose off work orders upon completion of job and update component details in the CMMS (AMT) to a high qualityWork in conjunction with Emeco Execution team to effectively manage breakdowns eventsOn MEC Components Breakdowns, procure component along with refit parts and additional scope recommendations required to carry out repair minimising impact to client operations but effectively utilising downtime eventOn short duration breakdown events, manage the impact by reviewing capacity and resourcing availability and assist execution team as required About you Experience in maintenance of heavy mobile earth moving equipment, in particular CAT, Hitachi, and Komatsu; Trade Background preferred.Demonstrated experience in maintenance scheduling.Effective planning and organising skills with the ability to deliver on simultaneous projects with competing priorities.High-level communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills with proven ability to foster strong working relationships.Ability to deliver to deadlines.Substantial knowledge and experience utilising computer programs including AMT (Computerised Maintenance Management Systems) and Microsoft Office Suite.Knowledge of what drives equipment productivity in the mining environmentStrong understanding of customer operations and equipment usage.Strong time management skills and ability to plan and forecast.Previous experience in a similar roleWhat we offerEmeco Group employees benefit from a culture that supports a safe, modern and secure working environment, favorable working conditions, training and development opportunities, career advancement opportunities, plus competitive financial benefits.With an exciting and bright future, Emeco is an excellent choice for anyone seeking a rewarding career in the mining &/or heavy earth moving industry!How to ApplyContact Isabella on 0487 707 332 for more info or click on 'Apply' and upload your CV today! Emeco is an Equal Employment Opportunity employer - we encourage applicants who identify as Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander to apply.
