With close to 900 machines within our rental fleet, supported by a network of maintenance & component rebuild workshops and powered by our internal Asset Management team and fleet optimisation technology.Emeco are seeking an experienced Senior Project Maintenance Manager to complete a roaming role across major projects within the Northern goldfields region with a Key Client. About The roleKey responsibilities of the role include:Actively participate in the management of the Emeco Occupational Health and Safety Management Plan, ensuring the teams adherence with required standards and processesManagement of maintenance operations personnel including supervision of site maintenance employees, contractors and subcontractors, maintenance administration and planningEnsure the effective financial management of the sites; ensuring sites are operating within budget, including labour and R&M and undertaking cost reduction initiatives through efficient maintenance practicesResponsible for effective contractor management by ensuring that all workers undertaking activities on behalf of Emeco (including approved contractors, sub-contractors and labour hire staff) are correctly registered through the Emeco contractor management process, understand and comply with all Emeco standards and procedures, are fully competent and licensed to perform any and all work required of them, and are effectively managed at the site levelProvide our clients with superior customer service by ensureing mobile equipment service and maintenance schedules for all equipment is current and executed safely and effifiently.Effective planning, utilising the support of Emeco’s centralised planning hub for all major machine expense (ME) replacements to incorporate the estimated downtime, required resources, expenditure and efficient work detail to ensure effective job flowProvide leadership and guidance on technical and commercial issues, as it relates to the maintenance teamTakes responsibility for maximising the performance of the maintenance team, provides leadership and technical support, and ensures team takes responsibility for their tasksIdentify opportunities and implement continuous improvement and cost saving initiatives that improve Emeco processes, systems and performanceLeads investigation of complex business issues, such as major incidents involving Emeco equipmentAbout YouThe successful applicant will have the following skills and knowledge:Trade qualified Diesel Mechanic;Proven track record in a maintenance management role associated with mining and heavy mobile equipment.Certificate IV in Frontline Management or equivalentAMT Experience would be beneficialDemonstrate high-level organisational and communication skills including effective negotiation with clients to support day to day equipment availability to ensure client production targets are met.Sound knowledge and proven track record in personnel, operational, administration and business development systemsSound knowledge of commercial/administrative systemsAble to manage the capital expenditure program in relation to programming, cost control and allocationStrong safety focus and ability to actively drive, promote and grow a healthy safety culture at a site levelWhy Us8/6 family firendly Roster Ex Perth;Competitive remuneration package; andGreat team work environment with future development opportunities.How to applyTo apply for this role, click on the APPLY button, and submit a resume.
