About the roleThe Emeco Group are currently seeking a suitably experienced (HME) Short Term Maintenance Planner to join our dynamic team based in Osborne Park, Western Australia, site travel is encouraged as requiredThe successful candidate will be responsible for (but not limited to) the following duties:Develop and maintain a rolling current week plus 2 maintenance plan of all works completed in a region to preserve equipment operational availability and integrity including labour, parts, services and tooling requirementsThe Short Term Maintenance Planner is responsible for the successful developing of the plan that includes all major components, scheduled services, defect and backlog prioritisation, inspections and minor repairs utilising AMT (CMMS) concise and accurate entry of information during and following the executionReview and accept the forecast of Major component Tasks secured by the Central Long Term Planning team and schedule required minor components, parts, labour, resources (cranes etc), and logisticsReview all asset Statutory requirements and liaise with service providers to have these tasks completed on site and on time to ensure compliance.Place parts orders with Procurement team for major and non-major component work scopes including PM Service kits prior to the required date onsite.Schedule execution of Condition Monitoring workorders raised in AMT (CMMS) by the Central Asset team and provide feedback as required on completion of inspections.Develop job estimations for breakdown requirements that can be met within the components and/or labour of the scheduleInform Central Asset Team of all Early Failures and possible warranty situations, gather all information requested and compile into AMT (CMMS)Close off work orders upon completion of job and update component details in the CMMS (AMT) upon completion of jobEngage with Maintenance team to improve defect recording and management, and to ensure production and other targets are achieved across the operationEngage with Regional Rental/ Maintenance teams to ensure that works are completed according to customer requirements and constraints  About you Experience in maintenance of heavy mobile earth moving equipment, in particular CAT, Hitachi and Komatsu; Trade Background preferred.Demonstrated experience in maintenance schedulingEffective planning and organising skills with the ability to deliver on simultaneous projects with competing prioritiesHigh-level communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills with proven ability to foster strong working relationshipsAbility to deliver to deadlinesSubstantial knowledge and experience utilising computer programs including AM T (Computerised Maintenance Management Systems) and Microsoft Office Suite.The role will be attractive to those that have a strong drive to succeed and enjoy a challenging and fast paced and dynamic work environment.What we offerEmeco Group employees benefit from a culture that supports a safe, modern and secure working environment, favourable working conditions, training and development opportunities, career advancement opportunities, plus competitive financial benefits.With an exciting and bright future, Emeco is an excellent choice for anyone seeking a rewarding career in the mining &/or heavy earth moving industry!How to ApplyContact Rhi on 0408 881 227 for more info or click on 'Apply' and upload your CV today!Emeco is an Equal Employment Opportunity employer - we encourage applicants who identify as Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander to apply.Please note: Agency referrals will not be accepted at this point of time.
