Heavy Diesel Fitter
Emeco are now accepting applications for an experienced Heavy Diesel Fitter to join our highly skilled and adaptive maintenance team located at Blair Athol mine site. Located in the Bowen Basin of Central Queensland.
An opportunity to have some stability and longevity in your career with the current mine life extension until around 2035. Even time roster, perfect long term position.

- Full Time option - EARN from $70 per hour + Super upwards
- Your hourly rate - will directly reflect your level of experience
- 12.5 hour shifts – every shift

The Fleet On-Site:
- CAT – 789 Trucks x 8
- CAT – D11 Dozers x 7
- CAT – 992 Loaders x 4
- CAT – 773 Water Truck x 1
What we’ll need from you:
- Australian recognised trade certificate
- Unrestricted rights to work in Australia.
- Extensive Mine site exposure and experience completing break down works, troubleshooting and diagnostics, general servicing, and component change outs across a variety of OEM equipment (CAT, Komatsu, Liebherr and Hitachi Equipment).
- Current Australian driver’s license (mandatory)
- National Police Clearance or able to obtain one
