About the Role

Emeco is looking for a Project Coordinator to support planning activities at Griffin Coal, based in Collie, WA. This role ensures maintenance and major equipment outages are fully prepared, resourced, and staged for smooth execution. You will coordinate parts, labour, and resources, clear backlogs, manage budgets, and maintain strong client relationships, without directly overseeing the work.
 
Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure labour, parts, and resources are prepared prior to equipment delivery and maintenance activities
  • Support planning for major component outages and shutdowns
  • Clear maintenance backlogs in line with schedules
  • Collaborate with Griffin Coal supervision, planning, and maintenance teams
  • Provide accurate shutdown scopes and participate in planning meetings
  • Analyse maintenance reports and identify opportunities to reduce downtime
  • Source OEM technical information to support maintenance execution
  •  Support condition monitoring programs, including oil sampling analysis
  • Build strong working relationships with customers, suppliers, contractors, and internal teams
  • Actively promote a strong HS&E culture

About You
  • Trade qualified Mechanical professional
  • Current driver’s licence
  • Strong planning, coordination, and problem-solving skills
  • Proven experience fault-finding on heavy mining equipment
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities
  • Self-motivated with the ability to manage priorities independently
  • Sound knowledge of WHS (Mines) Regulations 2022
