Maintenance Planner - Regional Hub Lead
We’re looking for someone who thrives on structure, thrives under pressure, and knows how to keep complex operations running like clockwork. The Regional Hub Lead role is critical to how we plan and deliver maintenance across our sites — and it’s now open. Working between our Head Office in Osborne Park and our Distribution Centre in South Guildford.
This isn’t a job for someone who wants to sit back and manage the status quo. We’re after someone who’s confident, driven, and ready to take charge of a well-established hub that coordinates all planned maintenance events — from component change-outs and defect rectification to servicing and statutory compliance. Your work keeps the plan moving, the sites focused, and the business ahead.
What makes this role stand out:
- You’ll be at the centre of it all – coordinating people, parts, and plans across multiple sites.
- You’ll take the lead – this is a hands-on leadership role that requires sharp decision-making and serious coordination skills.
- You’ll create flow, not friction – ensuring maintenance is well-planned, resourced, and executed without the headaches.
- You’ll make a real difference – improving labour efficiency, reducing unplanned work, and driving smarter processes.
What the role involves:
- Managing the regional hub and a Team of Planners responsible for planned maintenance activities across sites — component work, PMs, defects, servicing and more.
- Maintaining a rolling 3-week schedule of labour and events and issuing detailed work packs to the field.
- Coordinating with procurement to ensure parts are ordered, aligned, and ready before work kicks off.
- Scheduling resources, site access, logistics and labour for major component jobs.
- Responding to breakdowns when needed, while keeping the focus on delivering >70% planned work.
- Updating and closing out work orders with accurate detail, including statutory compliance and asset history.
- Working alongside condition monitoring teams to resolve faults and implement proactive strategies.
- Driving continuous improvement in systems, processes, and planning.
We’re looking for someone who:
- Has strong experience in maintenance planning, coordination, or operations — ideally in mining or heavy industry.
- Works well under pressure, communicates clearly, and stays one step ahead.
- Has a proactive mindset and a bias for action — you don’t wait for direction, you lead with it.
- Understands the importance of detail and discipline in scheduling and compliance.
- Has experience using relevant software similar to AMT, GP and D365
