What your day looks like:
- Lead a team of 10 – 15 people on day and night shift
- Ongoing maintenance and optimisation of Emeco’s heavy earthmoving fleet
- Providing support to the Emeco rental fleet as required
- Working safely and adhering to relevant HSE policy and procedures to minimise the risk of injury to yourself and others.
- Ensuring all maintenance and optimisation targets are met on time and within budget.
- Working with Emeco customers and stakeholders to meet larger organisational objectives.
What we’ll need from you:
- Must have full working rights within Australia
- A strong commitment to safety and leadership
- AMT exposure would be highly advantageous
- Significant post-trade experience with heavy earthmoving equipment; namely Caterpillar, Komatsu, and Hitachi
- Prior leadership experience working on a mine site leading a team of 10+ people
- High level of understanding of maintenance and reliability principles
- Strong analytical mindset and solution focused attitude
- Hold a current Australian Driver's License
- Recognised National Australian Trade Certificate as a Heavy Diesel Fitter
- Licence to conduct high risk work with dogging, rigging, crane and work platform classifications (desirable)
