Group Risk & Compliance Superintendent to own our risk and compliance framework and ensure our operations consistently meet the highest standards.
At the heart of this position is the continuous implementation and strengthening of Emeco’s Critical Risk Program. We’re looking for a leader with strong risk and safety credentials who can mentor and empower teams, ensuring safety and compliance are embedded in everything we do.

Key Responsibilities:
- Developing an annual; plan for risk and compliance management activities
- Lead a risk management strategy for the organisation
- Develop/update all associated risk management documentation i.e. policy, procedures etc.
- Support all Emeco sites by embedding a risk aware culture
- Facilitate Operational Risk Assessments and Reviews
- Assist in the implementation of Critical Control software across all Sites
- Ensure compliance with regulatory obligations whilst taking a commercial and practical approach to risk-based challenges and offer appropriate solutions
- Continual drive for enhanced efficiency in all Risk and Compliance processes
- Develop, lead and motivate the Risk Committees to maximise effectiveness
- Ensure senior management remain informed of regulatory, legislative and best practice changes and their obligations under these changes and how they impact the Group
- Identifying and communicating as necessary industry developments and changes in best practice for risk and compliance management
What We Need from You:
- Current Drivers Licence
- Certificate IV in OHS
- Experience with MYOSH software, highly regarded
- 5 years’ experience within mining industry in OH&S role
- Understanding of industry regulations and safety standards
- Previous risk management experience, highly regarded
- Formal Certification in Auditing
